Hello Masonic family,
To start off October, Job’s Daughters held their north state leadership camp in Camp Ayroyo in Livermore. It was a full weekend of fun and growth! We played games, made some great friendships, and learned many important skills that we brought home.
A week later Bethel No. 86 hosted a table at Zane Middle School. We had a ton of pipe cleaners to teach the visitors how to make little pumpkins and talked about Job’s Daughters.
Starting off November, Bethel 86 will be serving breakfast on the first for the Masonic Outreach Services informational gathering at 8. At noon on the same day, we invite friends to Ultimate Yogurt fro-yo social! If you have a daughter, niece or even a neighbor who likes frozen treats she is welcome! Email Bethel86@cajdi.org for more details. Our open business meeting is on Nov. 3rd at 7. If you come at 6:20, you can also get a tour of the lodge building! Later in the month is Grand Council. We also are planning to escort the flag for some upcoming OES installations.
Our current fundraiser is selling Masonic family coasters. See the flier for more details. Save the date in December for our Lasagna dinner sales. December 20th we will be making lasagnas fresh to go, or you can buy dinner tickets and enjoy a lasagna dinner. More information on the lasagna flier or email Bethel86@cajdi.org. Tickets and sales will begin Nov 3rd.
There are two more important dates to save in your calendar coming in December. We encourage everyone to bring gloves and help save the trees from the deadly ivy at the ivy pull at Sequoia Park on Glatt & T streets on Dec. 13th in the morning. Come join us for a morning of service to our local park and beloved trees. Let’s show everyone what the Masonic family can do!! The following day is the installation of Bethel officers at 2 PM on Dec. 14th. Look for more details in the December issue.
If you have questions or need more information, please email us at Bethel86@cajdi.org. Our open business meetings are the first Monday and our regalia meetings are the third Monday of each month. We start at 7PM both evenings. We meet in Eureka at the Humboldt Masonic Center 517 G st. We look forward to seeing you here and around and appreciate all your ongoing support!!
